Mission Friends is the church missions organization of WMU for preschoolers ages birth through prefirst. The primary objective of Mission Friends is to provide a strong foundation for preschoolers in a Christian and missions lifestyle.

Mission Friends provides developmentally appropriate missions learning experiences to help preschoolers move from a self-centered focus to a focus on others, to become aware that not everyone knows about God's love, and to understand ways they can help others know about this good news!


Girls in Action is a missions organization for girls in grades 1-6.  In GA®, girls:
   * learn what missionaries do.
   * pray for missionaries and their work.
   * discover how they can help other people.
   * save and give money to help tell other people about Jesus.
   * learn about people around the world
   * have fun with friends!

Children in Action (CiA) is a coed missions organization for children in grades 1-6.  CiA uses the same yearly emphasis that GA and other WMU organizations use, but plans for CiA curriculum are developed separately.


Women on Mission is a missions organization for women (ages 18 and up) through which women pray for and give to missions, do missions, learn about missions, grow spiritually toward a missions lifestyle, and participate in the work of the church and the denomination.  The purpose of all Women on Mission activities is that every person have the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.

BBC currently has two WOM groups.  The Day Group meets every third Monday during the day, and meeting times vary.  For more information contact Elizabeth Taylor.  The night group known at GEMS(girls eating, meeting, serving) meet every other month usually on the second Saturda at 10:30 a.m.  For more information about GEMS, contact Jill Brannen.
The focus of Woman's Missionary Union is to:

  *  Pray for and give to missions.
   * Do missions.
   * Learn about missions.
   * Develop spiritually toward a missions lifestyle.
   * Participate in the work of the church and denomination.
